Professional cleaning teams work most efficiently when they can focus on cleaning — not tidying. A few minutes of preparation before your scheduled visit can meaningfully improve the results you get.
Start by clearing flat surfaces like countertops, tables, and desks. This allows the team to sanitise surfaces thoroughly rather than moving items around. You don't need to deep-clean anything — just create clear access.
Pick up items from floors in high-traffic areas. Clothing, toys, shoes, and scattered objects can slow the team down and may even get moved out of the way rather than vacuumed around.
If you have pets, plan to keep them in a separate room or out of the home during the visit. This reduces stress for the animals and keeps the team focused. Also let us know if your pet sheds heavily so we can bring appropriate equipment.
Communicate any priorities upfront. If you have one room that needs extra attention, or a stain you'd like specifically addressed, include a note in your booking or message our team before arrival. The more context we have, the better your outcome.
Finally, ensure the team has clear access to your home. Leave instructions for door codes, parking, and any specific access requirements. We'll confirm all of this in your booking confirmation.
